Hello, my name is Ida and I like to travel countries.

Hallo! Hola! Привет! Hello! Oi! Kumusta?
"hello" in German, Spanish, Russian, ENGLISH, BRAZILIAN and Tagalog (PHILIPPINES)
My home was, is and will remain Kaiserslautern. <3 This is also the starting point for all the activities you can accompany me on!
I am a freedom-loving person. Cultures, nature and food fascinate me. Since I was young, I have loved watching documentaries and admiring the world, nature, people and animals. I love taking photos, trying out local food and even cooking on vacation.
For this reason, I prefer vacations in vacation apartments. I feel at home there. You are flexible with the times (ghetto fist to all night owls), you can be creative in the kitchen and you are always trying out new things and learning new things. An all-inclusive vacation is nice for 2-3 days, then I get bored.
I like to organize our vacations as cheaply as possible, but without making sacrifices. It has to be comfortable, a car is a must and you don’t skimp on food either.
I love to laugh and fool around. Especially with my better half, I feel so comfortable that we are willing to do anything for a good joke.

The beautiful man at my side is called Mark. He was an all-inclusive vacationer, is a computer person and only gets no earache in warm countries.
I won’t say any more, otherwise someone else will fall in love 😉

Childhood
As a child, I went on holiday once a year during the summer holidays. Mostly it was to campsites in Italy or Spain, and occasionally a mobile home. I loved these holidays. Setting off in the evening, the long overnight drive and arriving at the sea in the morning. The long car journey with my two siblings in the back seat. I can still see the fully packed car in front of me today: my mum sitting in the passenger seat with a map in her hands, a bottle of Coca-Cola under her feet, and my dad driving. The food, which was always the best in the world because we ate it outside.
Childhood memories are the best, memories of a trip are the second best.
On some summer holidays we also went to Russia to visit my grandparents and other relatives. This was always exciting because we travelled from Moscow to Cheboksary on a sleeper train.
Youth
Later, I went on an AIDA Mediterranean cruise with my parents. I also worked for Go-Youth Travel during the summer holidays, traveled to China during my studies and visited Brazil for my brother’s wedding.
Be awake
Most recently, we visited Mark’s loving family in the Philippines. There we saw, among other things, two turtles, a small water turtle and a large green sea turtle. One of my biggest dreams also came true and I saw clownfish in their natural habitat while snorkeling. Another highlight was a huge school of fish.
Despite all the new impressions and wonders from faraway countries, we prefer to spend our holidays in the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are very diverse and not just holiday islands with hotel bunkers and mass tourism. The Canary Islands are colorful. You will find light and jet black sandy beaches and you can even swim in natural pools between solidified lava while huge waves thunder onto the shore next to you. Although it seems very rough and barren at first glance, at second glance the landscape of the Canary Islands is simply amazing! On some islands there are even up to seven different climate zones.
Our favorite island is Tenerife. However, each island stands on its own and each island has its own character.
I work full time, live for my family, our cats and for traveling. My dream is to live by the sea, travel to all continents and visit the beautiful forests, castles and palaces that Germany has to offer as often as possible.
I love taking photos and sometimes I like to have my photo taken. I find writing difficult, but a travel blog has always been a dream of mine, as good research is the be-all and end-all for me when it comes to my next travel destination. I like to explore places, love shopping abroad and cooking for myself. A pure beach vacation gets boring for me after two days.
That’s why I want to share my experiences and insights with the world here and hope to be able to help others.
I find a diary and photo book that is always alive and not so secret exciting, and I look forward to exchanging ideas with readers if this site is discovered.
xoxo ida
